And what's wrong with the motocross tires? Some of us only have knobbies. I think I've even been around that track on a motocross bike.

Not on a dirt track. Somewhere I've seen a pic of him in leathers on a dirt track bike.

Talked to George last weekend to get tappet adjustment advice. He raced the AHRMA MX
at Reddick a few weeks ago on his AJS. Said it was fun but he wasn't really ready and in
shape after all the chemo.

Nancy and I met George at one of our earlier AMA Vintage Days, he was racing. Actually it was the very last race on the permanent track that was set up. He was 75 years old then, so that would make him 80 probably?
