Who's is ready for the 2016 OMA season to start?!?

Next weekend March 19&20 is the season opener!!

The gates will open on Saturday at 7:00am!! We will be having an open practice from 8:30-2:30 for all bikes and quads. $25 per rider.

All quads and pw 50s WILL RACE ON SATURDAY EVENING!! Sign up will begin at 2:00pm, with pre race practice at about 3:30pm, races immediately following.

On Sunday morning, sign up will begin at 7:00am, with pre race practice at 8:30am, and racing to follow at about 10:00am. We will also have an hour or so of sign up on Saturday to help keep the line down on Sunday morning.

Anyone that wants to come and camp is more than welcome to do so! Gates will be open on Friday around 5:00pm

Gate fees for the weekend are $10/person. 5 and under (non racers) are free.

We are pumped to get the 2016 season started!! Hope to see everyone come out and kick off the 2016 season with a bang!
 
Malvern crew did a great job getting the track ready for the opener today.. Few images below. I'll continue to add pictures over the next few days.

Also.. Jason, please place a few burn barrels around the infield for tomorrow! ;)

Thanks for coming out Matt. What a great day. Place was packed. Can't wait to see it tomorrow. By the way no snow or precipitation here today and no real big chance for tomorrow, it all stayed to the south. Lets RACE!!!
 
Great job Malvern staff! Track looked great, not too rough, good ruts. The announcer did an outstanding job! I didn't need a race order, he kept us informed of what moto # we were on each race. He was very knowledgeable, entertaining and did much more than just race announcing. Thanks! See you soon!

How about a shout out to the ladies in the sign up building for putting together a fluid race order, or to Jason and the track crew for prepping and maintaining excellent track conditions. To the flaggers who did a superb job, and the track personnel for running open practice and keeping the program running smooth. The gate keepers and concession workers, my assistant and everyone who had a part in the event did fantastic and made my job a lot easier!

Listen.. I was sleepy..The dog kept bothering me.. I had to get to work.. The cat wouldn't stop meowing.. Is that enough excuses for you Woody? (Sigh... I just forgot to add them! :confused:) I will fix it tonight!
