Pulse?

Do we have a pulse? No one excited about the Cavs? 52 years? Nothing?

I've been waiting for this moment for 29 years. Such a cool thing to finally witness a championship in Cleveland. I was the guy still watching after LeBron left. Watching guys like Manny Harris, Samaurdo Samuels, Ryan Hollins, and all of the countless other bums that are no longer even in the league. So it was a pretty cool moment last night for me. I hope everyone else enjoyed it too! Go Cleveland!

Hell's yes, I am excited!!! I thought I would die before a Cleveland team ever won a Championship. I was so excited, I went out and jumped on the roof of my car, smashed the windows out with a sledge hammer, then I torched it. Good times!!!

That's funny...I did the exact same thing. Had to ride my 300 XC to work.

I could care less about sports or the championship that "we" won. (i really get a kick out of how everyone in cleveland thinks that they somehow helped the team with those games. didnt know i knew so many cavs players)

regardless of not giving a crap about it, it was still fun to use as an excuse to go out and drink beer. It's fun when everyone excited and happy, its not often strangers just want to high five you instead of fight you at the bar. lol... so it was fun being out and about for the last few games. im heading down to the parade on wednesday.... again just an excuse to take the day off of work and go get into some shenanigans.

You could care less? How much less? Personally I couldnt care any less about basketball, or any ball sport for that matter. Boring. I have a hard time bringing myself to watch MX or SX on tv. Id rather be out doing it than watching it!

The only thing that can drag me out to watch, and only sometimes at that,
is MotoGP. Still really cool tech that gets me going. Dirt bikes I can do myself,
no unobtanium to get me going.

In cleveland, no one is ever happy. Besides the dude dancing at the casino well before the cavs won the championship. Sweatpants and all, that dude was happy.

THEY won the championship. Good for them, congrats to the players. I watched the news tonight.. every story involved the cavs. They even did a report on the guy that had the longest standing season tickets. I'd hate to be the poor sob that had to cover that story.

Kind of weird to me that the majority of dirt bike guys could not care less about sports. I mean I think there's obviously nothing wrong with that. It's just weird to me because I love both with a passion. I can't begin to understand someone not watching the NBA finals or the world series. It's definitely a trend though because almost all of my buddies that are into dirt bikes, hate sports. Maybe it's a hand eye coordination thing. Idk.

Anyways, I'm pumped for the city. Thought I would share.

I want to add, I drank only one beer during the finals and it was while sitting on my couch watching the finals games. I watched all of them and I was excited for the team. I'm just glad cleveland finally has something to be happy about! They did an excellent job and nailed game seven while making history with that 3-1 deficit. I'm closer to akron so I was happy to see LeBron get one for the land.

My pulse may be up because I haven't played basketball in a few months. My weekly old guy pickup game finally fizzled out after an eleven year run. A couple of hours on the court sweating each week does help keep the old body in shape. I quit for a bit last year and then some of the new younger guys called me back. But with only two of the original players remaining, it wasn't the same or as much fun. And the other original is about twenty years younger, half a foot taller than me and looks and plays like a real basketballer.
I'm not a NE Ohio guy. And I've been a GS fan for several years now. I just enjoy watching them play. Outside the arc shots are the great equalizer for an old guy who can't jump anymore. Especially if you play twos and ones like we did. GS plays small with some old players and shoots better than anyone. Well, that is until the playoffs when the rules change and their lack of size gets them all beat up. If the league let them play that way all year there would be very few around for the playoffs.

Warriors - Regular session winners
Cavaliers - NBA Champions- Congratulations Cleveland!

I used to play in a weekly pick up game at my old high school. I had a blast playing with all age groups. It's awesome to watch the older guys school the young guys. They actually know how to play the game, and it's a beauty to watch.

GS is a great team. Frankly, I didn't think they were beatable. The shots they make are ridiculous. With that being said though, I'm still a fan of old school basketball. I love the mid-range jumper, dumping it in the post, and fast breaks. Either way, it was one of the best series' I've ever seen.

I always got cut from the basketball team. Coaches never liked me missing Thursday practice for a silly dirtbike ride in Dorset Ohio.

Don't really care about basketball but maybe we can get some freshly paved roads from the revenue the city will pull in from his championship and the RNC. Great for the city. Good to see so many miserable SOBs act happy at work the past few days!

Motorheads tend to not be much into sports. It is kinda weird. I myself hate basketball because I always sucked at it, and every GD po-dunk college has a team and that is all is on ESPN throughout the winter. I am a baseball, football guy. Speaking of, while the rest of you watched Finals I was watching my beloved Gators get bounced out of the college world series in back to back losses. Damnit.

I happened to be at a conference this week in Cleveland. At the Hilton right next to the Mall. Man it was crazy. never seen so many people or trash in my life.

Thought some of the players with shorts half way down their ass, and no shirts on were an embarrassment. Come on, you just won a championship and are on a world stage with all the media spot light. They pretty much came across as punks in my opinion. Learn how to be an adult, dress like and adult, and show some respect for yourself, your fans, and your city.

I was in the casino when the shooting happened. The shooting was outside, but for whatever reason people inside started running like crazy..ive never experienced that before. EVeryone was panicing... I saw that the workers and police around were all calm and still just standing around, so i just stayed at the bar drinking my beer. But when I looked up at the TV it said shooting, saw ppl running on the streets also. OK still not really concerned... then the cops came running through with hands on their guns and said that the shooter is inside the casino... at that point it was a little ppl started cryihng and stuff. They made everyone leave with their hands above their head. I helped an old lady out and carried her walker down the stairs for her because they wouldnt let her get in the elevator and she was freaking out because she wasnt sure how to get down there.

So yeah that was interesting, i was glad to see it was just some punk ass 15 yr old kid that shot a 13 yr old girl in the leg, and not some kinda terrorist thing or something... but ill never forget that whole place PACKED with ppl panicing like crazy with such fear on their face, clearing out in like 60 seconds. was impressed with how quickly they handled clearing it out.
