Galpher front rotor noisy.

The new to me used bike has an aftermarket front wave rotor on it that makes a a lot of noise when on the brakes hard. Pad thickness is good and they appear to be glazed a bit. Is there anything else that could cause this? I thought I read somewhere you have to use organic pad material or something.

My '14 Yamaha 450 has a Galfer 270mm oversize rotor on it and haven't had any issues
using either their pads or OE Yamaha pads.
I've called their tech team before and felt they took the time to answer my questions.
