Casey Jones you better watch your speed..

This past weekend 7 of us ventured over Lincoln Trail MX in Casey, Illinois for a North Central Area Qualifier.

Well----- One of us went all the way to Baja (in Michigan) first before realizing it was Casey we were hitting this week – then Baja the next week. –

Anyway ...They run a good show, the competition is stiff and we all dig the Bomber Track that is used for the Area Qualifier.

Casey had over 1000 entries for the weekend

Lap times around 2:15 -2:30 for us vets

They banged out the moto’s like clockwork

The announcer was good at calling the racing action while keeping us informed on who’s in staging

The track prep was on point all weekend – no dust and they let it get rough – minimal fluffing

No major squad runs

They had us wrapped up right around 3:30 and some pretty cool awards

….and now we’re planning a Millville Moto Trip!!!!

3 laps. On a very wet track
No separate vet practice
My choices were a/b big bike or c big bike - I did c
Riders meeting spoken to each practice group at the paddock before heading out
Gate guy was dynamite. Has a little PA and can be heard well.
Transponders rock

This place invented mx - been at it now for many moons

The amazing thing about the kid on the 80 is that the kid in front of his is going faster. Hauling the mail is an understatement
