Track turned out good. Friday it was s**t at the beginning, but got better as the day went. The weather worked out in our favor all weekend.
My buddies got there early and had me a spot saved, I think we had the only level spot on the property. They had water at the end of the driveway if needed, and a fella came around offering water for sale on Saturday. There is a Kroger's a couple miles down the road. Staff was friendly.
They must have had a brain fart thinking they could complete sign up in 2 hours on Friday. They said there was 735 riders. They had to push practice back and 1:15 mins due to people still waiting in line for sign up. They pushed practice, moto 1 and moto 2 race 10 in on Saturday, which made Sunday go by quickly. They had race results posted shortly after the race finished. From what I saw the flaggers and safety crews did a great job.
The boy got his ticket with a 5th over all out of 35. Was the only kid from Ohio in the top 25.
