My absolute favorite is paying Avon Lake $1,300 where I work, then paying Sheffield Lake $1,700 where I live on top of property tax. Double dip much ?

Could be worse, the Canadian sales tax in most provinces is 15%.

If you’re buying enough that sales tax across state borders is saving you thousands than should probably be claiming it as a use. Not sure the odds of getting audited but I would hate to get that nice little surprise in the mail.

With all that, totally agree with everyone and hate when taxes are raised and you see no downstream benefits.

It’s a shame that a dealer can’t utilize the tools we have to meet customer satisfaction. Most of Ohio dealers can get aftermarket parts in one day. Most of the time they can match price as the internet. If you need parts ASAP tell the parts guy you need it. Make sure to ask them if it’s in stock and not on back order if the part needs ordered.
