Smith Road Annual 4th of July/ George Singler Memorial

4th of July Race & George Singler Memorial Details

New this year we will be asking riders to tune into 100.5 on race day for announcements we have struggled for years with the PA and while we will still be using it this is more reliable so you may want to bring a small portable radio to make it easier to hear in your pit area

With Covid we are still asking you to bring your own pen to sign ups and exact change whenever possible. Mask won’t be required but the health department did mention that everyone should still be social distancing.

Attention after much deliberation and feedback from the quad community we have decided we will no longer have quad classes at our races, its nothing personal strictly a business decision. We made a post encouraging quad riders to come out and race 4th of July and increase their numbers to continue their classes and were overwhelmed with the amount of nasty negative posts from the quad community.( which was promptly deleted) We know its not everyone and we feel bad about the quad riders who have supported us throughout the years but it just doesn’t make financial sense to continue on.

Looks like good weather for Sunday. Hoping to have a good memorial for George and the Smith Road facility so bring out your old memorbalia and old pictures for some great bench racing and lots of good racing on the track. Trying to put together some door prizes, anyone that wants to donate would be appreciated.
