W.T.M. - Weekly updates

Closed again due to rain - Everywhere.

Track Owners - I will pay full price to ride unprepped track with rain predicted in the forecast. I am sure I'm not the only rider who will support this. I NEED mud practice also. If your facility is willing to accommodate these opportunities, please speak up, I will forward this info to other riders willing to do the same. A unprepped track with some touch-up work would benefit me further than any full-prep practice.

I really am just wanting to add more of that in my program, not trying to harp about the track promoters business decisions!

Looks like it was a bust today for COCR

Looks like it was a bust today for COCR

It was bad. Poured right after practice and they pushed off a dozer blade width in some bad spots. Sun came out and first 3 motos looked like the track might get okay for later motos, then moto 4, which was me, it let loose while we were on the gate, was 250B and 35+. B class had first gate drop, we were 2nd. I wrecked in the first turn, and still ended up passing all the guys in my class and B class. The rain helped keep it “rideable”. I was also moto 6, and it was sunny then and the track was just too thick. Didn’t wanna blow my bike up so i took a dnf.

Bummed to miss beans this weekend.

Shooting up to Michigan for a sand boot camp prepping for vet fest.

Coop, Coop then Baja Acres.

My buddy Reed just bought a cherry old camper - be the best I’ve ever slept at the track in my life.

So stoked for Beans to be back - glad BJ is back feeling better.

If the day ever comes that Beans finally retires - I’ll have to hang up the boots too!

Smith last night was great. Decent turnout too for the heat.

Spent the late evening breaking down the track and moving around trying to force myself into different lines. I spend alot of time riding the exact same lines the whole day because that is what I'm confident in. I am realizing I need to move around more and its going to pay big dividends when I get this applied.

Esper was the fastest rider at the track that day.

Beans was pumping full steam this weekend.

Sat - Track was lighter on water and the turnout was larger than expected.
Sunday - BJ got the message. Track was wet early in the day and played out some really nice lines. A ton of passing opportunities all day.

Finding balance in my life and on my bike this weekend :)
