Ol boy been putting in the work!track was good. some flagging issues that i hope they can resolve. (multiple incidents throughout the day, typical flaggers not paying attention or not being stationed in a spot that makes any actual sense to be useful). they weren't exactly open to receiving the feedback either. ill leave that at that. safety should always be #1. chalk it up to clubs doing club things, thinking they know everything because they've done it for years. (that was their words)
decent turnout, i think, IDK.. havne't done a local moto race in a while. @SCHAFFERNOCKER picked it up this year, I couldn't hang. got some holeshots and some fun battles! prob should squeeze in a few more of these before the end of the year!
Thinking the same thing.BC on Sunday
The real question is do we need college boy??Raced eastfork this weekend. Struggle bus and went down in first moto of collegeboy pretty good but collegeboy was last moto and best the track was all day was the final moto of the day rough rutted but good
It’s like that at all the buckeye series practices, not just a cocr thing, with the kids being out in vet class. So far it’s happened at cocr, Honda hills, 62 and chilitown. I’m 36, i don’t need some 16 year old screaming at me to move, or block pass me and make me get hurt in practice. They need to do better about kids just going out with whichever practice they feel like going out with. Vet practice used to be 30+ and above, and it needs to go back to that. Was there and left half way through round 2 of practice. Been there 3 times prior to race mx and really liked it. Jumps are easy (except for me that first double along the woods after the start for some reason), the track flows really well and normally a good crowd of vet guys. But this past weekend practice prep was terrible and more than half the vet practice were kids under 18. Don't know the track we'll enough to jump the 'easy' jumps when some faces are rutted from over watering or the areas immediately after the landings are 2' deep mud full of ruts. At 58 I dont need to get hurt based on poor track management.
I was out there racing the 10:30 session! I was out there racing on a surron ultra bee! That bike is sick… might have to buy me one.Thinking the same thing.
Fast traxx was deep today. Had a blast
I seen ya! Thats when I was out there lol. Logan wants to sell his light bee and klx110 and get an ultra bee.I was out there racing the 10:30 session! I was out there racing on a surron ultra bee! That bike is sick… might have to buy me one.
Kids like Matthew that ride 450 B or A don't have any other class to ride their 450 in until they turn 25.The real question is do we need college boy??
Definitely worth it! I never even rode that bike until i raced it, and instantly felt good on it. If you want to get him one, let me know i am good friends with the owner of Electrix moto co, he’ll give you a great deal on one, that’s who i was out there racing with.I seen ya! If we didn’t have collegeboy I probably wouldn’t race very much makes no sense to only be able to ride one class cause I don’t wanna buy another bike eitherThe real question is do we need college boy??
