Well that didn't quite go as planned.

I ate sheeitt HARD at Smith road and went to hospital. Thought I broke my back/ribs but xrays of all that was clear. Believe I got contorted really bad and just pulled everything. I still can't stand up straight or really move much at all without my back spasming.

I do have a fractured elbow though, going for follow up on that later in the week, it looks like a baseball but I can move it and bend it.
Lots of people there helped me out, it is much appreciated.

I don't bounce off the ground like I used to anymore.....glad this happened AFTER LL that's for sure!

Before anyone asks -- my bike is totally fine. I think I made a nice cushion for the bike to land on.

My LD weekend plans are BC Sunday and Rt62 Monday
Quick comment re conditions last weekend...

BC was as expected. If anything, a little bit dry, but JO said they didn't get the water truck
back together until Saturday, which prevented putting down the normal amount of water.

RT62 was without a doubt their best prep of 2026. Deep enough to form ruts of multiple
depths and watered enough for the first 3hrs. It seemed to be very hit or miss this year

Dang! I thought less HP was safer?! Hope ya stretch out alright and the elbow gets back to normal!

Gahdammm PIT! The sport is brutal, take time to rest.

@Meister Confidence on a small bore increases, you wouldn't be able to convince me otherwise. The injury percentage has to go up imo. When you see someone sit on the bike, squeeze both the levers and compress the front forks. That person is feeling it and ready to ride the s**t out of that bike (in my experience, these are smaller bikes). It's a feeling that isn't replicated on a larger machine.

Haha you aren't wrong Corey about confidence on smaller bikes, but really this was just a flukey thing, stuff happens. Thanks everyone for well wishes!

Hitting Smith Rd today (Sunday) with the won-fifty.
I liked this one not knowing that you were going to literally hit Smith Road. What were you doing when this flukey thing happened? I tested two slightly used bikes back to back and my choice was my current YZ 125. The other bike was a KTM 150SX and the owner had experienced injuries from a nasty crash on the bike. The YZ though obviously light had a more secure, big bike like planted feel. The KTM went through the motions okay but for me the rider feedback seemed more vague.

Heal well!

Bike is back to running, Intake valve were overly tight, shoutout to Kotso for dialing the CRF back in. He said I may have been down on power because of this?.. Is that why TJ beat me at briarcliff? (hehe)

The boy rode the pdub after 2 years of 'pretend' riding, gearing up, setting up multiple fake pits, and dragging out all of my good pairs of goggles I have hidden in my gearbag. THIS has been awesome for me, I'm happy. I'm scared, I'm telling him to go fast and slow down. We are going to MX153 tomorrow to see if the track is as fun as the yard.

Awesome to hear about the kid man! It really is a great feeling to be at the track with your boy. Mine is not into it at all and it sucks cause i love moto for life. Enjoy dude!

Well looks like I maybe done riding. Got into a work accident yesterday and had parcel amputation of 3 of my finger on my left hand. Completely bummed out.
Oh man!!! Sorry to hear that! What do you do for work? Dont convince yourself youre done riding. Id imagine that mentally youre in a rough spot but try to keep positive. Healing while in the dumps sucks. Put a rekluse in or get a stark with a foot brake! Keep your head up!
