Tripling and doubling breaking bumps isn’t exciting, sorry. Gnarly and exciting are 2 different things. So super rough and less jumps, considering there are 0 elevation changes is exciting? Guess we have a different opinion on American motocross! I’m all for the biggest amateur national moving to Ironman!!! I know never happen they just signed a 10 yr contract or something to keep it at the ranch. Time for a change. Did anyone see the guy hit the tree going into story land after the triple?

Really stinks that browny got hurt and reed backed outed after his son’s injury (don’t blame him). But how exciting could it have been with short, reed, and brown racing in the same class? Shows how sad Loretta’s has become when the best racing could have been in the vet class!!! Think about it!!!!

Did anyone else see that slowie films got banned from Loretta’s? Go watch his YouTube vlog. He explains. I know not everyone is a fan of cooksey for whatever reason. So cooksey is banned and now slowie. They aren’t doing anything wrong other than telling the truth about mxsports. Pretty pathetic if you ask me. I know slowie goes to the summit indoors and have been told he’s a super cool guy! So why is he banned? Someone else really needs to run mxsports. Definitely going in the wrong direction. So sad!!

MX Sports is getting WAY too much control. It's absolutely not good for American Motocross. LL and the qualifying process has become a joke. It's the biggest money grab ever. The track is super rough but super boring. Nothing ever changes. Same layout as 20 years ago. Move this race to millviille or Unidilla or even monster mountain. Ironman is a MX sports lease, so keep it away from there.

Mxsports describes moto as a carousel. There’s room for everyone.
But the carousel is still powered by mxsports.
Can’t beat em. The mafia of moto. You’ll never win. And you’ll never beat the godfathers.
But they do provide a massive platform to race and there’s no shortage of whiners and bitchers to pay the fees to race the platform.

Good stuff this year again! Props to everyone that qualified and competed this year in the road to Loretta's.
I appreciate the activity in this thread as I look forward to kicking it off every season when the schedule gets released. Maybe an admin can lock this before it goes downhill?

Yeah. And they have MX101 training facility in SC. He was gracious enough to accept the DQ without drama.

Those PDUB kids never get very far in the sport now like back when JS7 raced it. Neighbor kid won it in 2021, parents are now divorced and the kid doesn't ride or race. Seems like a trend.......

I guess he didn't see the aftermath of those pee wee parents at Loretta Lynn's this year fighting about something else. That's really sad that those parents took to the ground fighting at a race that really means nothing in life. Look up past guys who have won the PDub class, you won't find most of them racing from the last 15 years. Even my somewhat close neighbor here in SC won the PDub class in 2021. Parents are divorced and the kid doesn't ride any longer........

Thanks, I wouldn't say strong. The mental side of these races is something rarely talked about. We tried our best to work on that side for him, it's where he could make the most improvement. There were a handful of kids between his 2 classes that ended up top 10 that he ran with and beat in qualifiers. His practice times were right there but his confidence on the line wasn't. Im.proud of the kid, he worked hard for it and really crushed it at Ironman. Compared to last winter at Mini Os, you wouldnt believe it's the same kid. We're taking a break to relax and reset, he says he wants to go back next year in school boy 1 and 125 b/c. If he wants to, he will make it again I have no doubt.
It is amazing the work, dedication and stress involved in making this race. The hours of working out, training, driving, bike maintenance and cooperation from the family required to make it to LL. I love MX and being at the track. Working on bikes is something I enjoy as well. But I'm honestly worn out. I'm glad it's over this year. The family is too. Mom did a ton of support, motivation and cooking. At 15, he was burning 4700 calories a day when in full training mode. That's another nobody talks about. We learned the hard after him getting tired all the time. A 2000 calorie deficit doesn't work.
And this is just the main stuff. Mx really is the most demanding sport. And the most fulfilling
