Cough cough it's your fault i tried 34 factory spec tires cough....
Seriously tho, those around the Canton area... If you dont know... Schaffernocker owns Smooth Speed. He should be your go-to for tire buying and tire changes. Dirt, street, bicycle, quad billys... Hes your guy with the best price and customer service in town.. i will never bust a knuckle again as long as hes around!
I have all these brands except Bridgestone running on various bikes right now. I use mid soft tires so mostly MX 33 and 34 Dunlap, MX32 Pirelli, T-35 Tusk and one big old might last forever Michelin rear on a next gen 360 Husky. I did recently get a YZ 295 build that came with a AT82 Dunlap rear that I'm warming up to. I have a 24 YZ 125 the came with Tusk tires. When I first saw them I thought they were junk but after riding on them, they are really good for me. So good that I ordered a replacement set figuring that prices will go up. I don't know if they will would work on larger bikes but for what this old guy needs from the 125 at 40+ hours so far, they are fine.I have been fortunate to change tires and test all types of stuff over the last 7 years. This is my go-to recommends from myself and customers personal opinions (The Meister's, who will have me change brand new tires because they 'dont' like em lol)
MX3S Front - MX34 Rear / MX14 Rear should be the combo in your corner for those diehard dunlopers. Only MX14 if its soft soil, you are not tomac, dont use that tire for indoor or mid-summer OH mx. Some prefer the MX34 front, but it still is not as good as the previous MX33 front.
Michelin Starcross 6 (Soft/Medium) not the hard mortar compound, those suck a** and have no flex.
Battlecross X40 Front - X31 Rear - The stone lovers. This combo kills for the price and RMATV will often run deals to get you a prepaid mastercard. Watch for these in early 'spring' when your tax return is waiting to deposit.
Pirelli Extra X - for the - Holy s**t, those other tires are expensive!
Tusk - Way better than your current bald ass tires and you dont give a hoot what goes on the rims.
Dude......more throttle, less brakes!!!I havent tried the tires but i was turned off once when i bought tusk brake pads in a pinch and in 3 laps at Malvern i wore them to the metal lol.
What do you want for them. I love the 82’s for the woods.Tracks or not, life would suck without a good tire guy!
P.s. anyone looking to try a set of Dunlop at82's? I right around 1 hour, maybe less, on a set front and rear and while they did work well, i just love my 34's.
The t-35 is a solid tire dude. I reallllllly like it. Great traction, and good corner grip. I ran one for a whole season on my 300sx racing gncc and mx. for the price you really can’t beat them.I’ve thought about trying tusk tires I mean all there stuff is really good and way cheaper especially if you had two sets of wheels I’d throw them on for practice tires
The Tusk products have came along way since the initial load of that brand in general.
The tusk rears are solid for the price - 100%
Primary drive is all i use on my bikes. Gold x ring chain and whatever sprockets comes in the kit. For $120 or whatever they are they’re worth it.@Mcaupp22 you sure aren't afraid to travel. That chain is a sleeper. I have been using Primary Drive drivetrain products for over 3/4 years now with no issues whatsoever.
