Bubba's move a take out or just racing...deja vu

Remember Reed's attempted block pass on Bubba at Atlanta?

Remember how Bubba was a bit pizzed and said that he doesn't try to pass riders the way Reed tried to pass him? (pfft !)

Just like Reed's pass attempt, I see Bubba's identical type of pass attempt on RV at Toronto to be a rubbins racing kind of move...only difference really is that Bubba's move was early in the race rather than a last lap attempt to get the lead.

Just curious...Are those same people who called Reed a dirty rider, now saying the same about Bubba?

Oh, by the way, I woulda never imagined that Reed would be in the points lead this far into the season!

I think Reeds move was a different angle of approach. He was perpendicular to stewart and cut in way further . It was similiar but I think less aggressive. Wasnt there also another rider to the outside of Villy causing him to go in a little less wide in the turn ?

I thought both moves were part of racing towards the front.......... and things happen when you are trying to get there and people (sometimes yourself included) end up on the ground.

Makes for a great series with 5 riders still in the hunt for the title!!!!

I'm glad Dungey got a win so the media can stop talking about when will the reigning series champ win? And without that chain issue.......... Dungey's in the lead by a fair share right now. But that too is part of racing.

Two of our top three are consistency guys, while one is a fast guy with lots of win............ kind of a real life tortoise and the hare story line. Who are you cheering for? I like Reed as he gets better and doesn't have so many sponsors to please and can speak more like a real person in interviews.

It is pretty cool to be able to speak like a real person on the podium instead being instructed to go through the list of sponsors and blow off any real conversation.

What a great season! I'm happy for Reed. I didn't think he would be up front at this point either. As for Bubba and Popo, I wouldn't put that in the same category with the Bubba/Reed tangle. In Atlanta, Reed really went across the track to block JS. In Toronto, JS dove inside RV, but didn't head across the track to do so.

I think this is Reeds championship, he has the experience and a cooler head to stay consistant. He does not have the same pressures that the others have. I think in the next round your going to see a Stewart win with a Villapoto and reed filling out the podium. I have not done the math but wouldnt stewart almost have to win out to win it?

What do you think of Erins interview with Chad. What a dumb chick.

Erin: So Chad are you suprised that you arent last this year being washed up and all.
CHad: Well Erin, I gave up everything and am risking my well being as well as all my money and marrige thinking if I could just make the main I will be happy.
Erin: Well, Did you think you would be in the lead at this Points?
Chad: I left everything in Austraila traveled across the world to be here cause I like it when Bubba takes me out.

para phrasing of course, what I heard.

Double D : Erin your not good looking, a crappy interviewer and know nothing about Supercross. Did you ever think that you should be selling Avon or something?

Crappy interview with a guy giving his all and doing great. Let the guy thank his sponsers and play it up while he is on top.

James was blitzing the whoops, he had way more momentum, where Villopoto wasn't really skimming them too well, and then Villopoto was trying to turn down underneath those two slower guys, but he missed James being on the inside, it was Villopoto's fault for turning down on them slower riders without checking to see if anyone was coming underneath of him, he did leave the door open, and should've known James was breathing down his neck...It's just like in the Lites when Wharton "took out" Sipes, he really didnt, at first look he did, but when you look at it more closely Wharton and Stewart both had the line, the riders on the outside were at fault. Not the riders on the inside

I for one like how the Dungey and Reed interviews were somewhat normal interviews for once. Lots of talking by the riders. Then Canard had to come screw it up with the typical 3 word answer followed by "I couldn't of done it without Rockstar Makita Suzuki Purell Dawny Dell Insignia Kleenex Dunlop The Man Above Red Bull Target Kobalt Monster Energy.........................."

Totally agree, I was pulling for Dungey to keep it together and stay in front of Reed and Canard. I really thought Trey was going to have a little more for RD and CR as the race wound down but guess he made a few mistakes and lost touch with them a bit.

What do you think of Erins interview with Chad.

Don't forget the fade away comments that are completely irrelevant!

Erin (as the camera fades): ...he's not the fastest man on the planet, but starting your own team is hard.

Pitracer's own Scotty810 does the best Erin impersonations!!

i agree that it was R.V.s fault. i don't know what the hell some of you guys are talking about it being "Stewarts Fault" he was no where near going in for the block pass. R.V. cut down into him. if stewart was such a dirty rider don't you think he would have taken reed out back in indy? when he passed reed for second

Did I somehow miss the post where someone said it was "Stewarts Fault"?

Photos! Must see photos of this "dirty racing"...hahaha. We don't have Speed anymore, so I miss everything.

Stewart doesn't have time to be patient. He has too much competition for once and after last week he needed to make up points. RV squared it up not Stewarts fault he can't read minds I don't think.

Sweet racing this season. I am not really a fan of RV for whatever reason so I'd like to see any one of the other guys win the championship. It would be real nice for RD to shut up all his critics saying he only one last year because everyone was hurt. Guess we will have to wait and see obviously anything can happen in this championship still.

Maybe they should put mirrors on their handlebars to see whos going to block pass them . Glad to see Reed with the points lead. And im going to say Stewart has one more big crash before its all said and done.
