Hopefully they have a water truck too that track as fun as it was always seems to get dusty quick. Either way happy to see another track to check out thats a 20 minute ride from the house

i thought they leveled everything after it closed? I all ways loved the place when Nick and Chet where running it..

What's up Trop! I do wanna check it out but I'm gonna go to OIR!

Pics?? Video?

B' Burg had it's moments back in the day but I'm curious exactly what was done to the earth after it sat abandoned for however many years it was. I remember it being rocky and dusty. Really dusty.
I'm of the opinion that it takes more than a quick disc and a spray with water to revive a track. The earth has to be worked for a few seasons, with proper prep before it's worth a damn. Just grabbing a tractor and a hose & hauling it to an abandoned track and calling it good is a stretch. No offense to the new owners, but some pics and perhaps a lap with a GoPro would help. Also curious about that back hill with the downhill jump? That section used to be like getting shot with bullets if you followed too closely and I don't remember them ever being able to get water up there?

Who has an accurate account of the track?

I use to go here all the time but man I did not miss it when it was gone. Good layout and size I just hated the rocks there and it did dry out fast. Btw am I on drugs or is it the same layout for the most part.

You bunch of whining bitches.... A guy opens up another place to ride and all some ppl can do is criticize. IF you don't wanna go ride there then don't go. Just be happy there is another option in the area. Most areas around the country have no where to ride...

You're not on drugs. Well, maybe you are, but I certainly hope not. As soon as I heard it was "back open" I thought, "Really?" No prior announcements, no discussions of what equipment they had or changes that were being made. As soon as my buddy called me, I said to him- "Man, you don't just open an abandoned track without solving the problems it had before it closed". OIR is a prime example. Now those guys work their ass off to get that place in shape this year and last and I'm not taking anything away from them, but to get it right, and I mean like when the Hands had it right- it was in it's heyday and had massive RACE turnouts and the prep was spectacular (circa 07-08 ish) the dirt, the actual EARTH was worked so that they could get the results they got. It takes money. It takes equipment. It takes WATER. It takes a chain drag or even better a rock hound. When Sam had B'Burg and Jon 16 had his ramp there, it was as good as it was ever going to get without spending a s**t ton of cash on equipment and an underground water system. Sam knew it. The guys that had it after Sam did a pretty good job, but they knew it too, was a losing battle when you add up actual cost, labor hours VS. payback.

That video? Dustbowl rock filled same old same old. But now quads too? Eeeef.
Sorry new guys but that place needs an underground water system, big money equipment and or water roads and an actual water truck.
I wish you the best of luck and if I'm bored on a day right after it rains, AND you prep with whatever you have AND you're still open, I'll toss a $20 your way. Seriously, no disrespect meant but this stuff takes money to pull off. Ask Malvern and BC.

*No disrespect meant to Chet and Nick, as I said, they are well on their way to a serious revival of OIR and it's better every time they touch it.

Whining bitches...yeah from a quad guy.. go plow some snow jackass. Prep means nothing to you, apparently.

Hey Paul, the guy decides to give ppl another option to ride and ya wanna cry about it... IF you don't like it don't go. He's not holding races...just a place to ride...not trying to make it the James Stewart compound...
