2016 ??? What are the rumors

Never to early to start talking... With the end of the season for the pro's coming this weekend and the release of the 2016 nation schedule due to be officially released. The big news is who will replace Utah?
Personally I would like to see Gatorback or another track in the southeast. Silly season for rider movement is about to kick into high gear so it will be fun to see who lands where. I guess the big move is one of the current teams is switching to Suzuki to revamp their 250 class presents.
Speaking of 250's, Marvin is moving up to the big bikes but I would like to see several move make to move as well.
On a local note, I would assume the big fish to land would be East Fork. Also an assumption would be I am sure they are wanting to schedule more than one race for next year. Natural fit would be to replace Treaty City (Maybe not a coincidence that the one race they schedule this year is on the last Treaty date) in the Southern Ohio series. I would really like to see Drew and Action Sports back on a series schedule somewhere. He has done a lot for our sport in the past and still can promote better then most.
The Kentuckyiana series has really been drawing some good numbers all year. Maybe expand that series into the Buckeye state also. Funny how some of those races are so close to Ohio and so few Ohio riders actually attend. I guess that Kentucky stamp in your passport is difficult to obtain.
OMA? With the struggles of OIR and 213, I would hope they are looking to expand next year as well. Hello, East Fork??? The concept of the OMA is still a great one but basically it is Malvern all year with a Chillitown, Briarcliff tease. "If your not growing, your dying." Said one very smart business person a long time ago.
Speaking of Chilli. If they don't have a regional next year... Well, it would just be plain stupid for them not to have one...or two... Heck move Lorettas there.
No matter the sanctioning body I am still looking for a reduction of classes. We do not need 4 different 50 classes. And this is coming form a 50 parent. Jr. and Sr. are more then enough. The 65 split into Jr. and Sr. has not really worked either. The Sr. class has very low numbers and the ridiculous 65 Open class has several Jr. kids in the top 5 each week. One 65 class is fine. And can we finally agree the schoolboy 2 class needs to be forgotten about? Give me 1 A class, 1 B class and 1 C class then college, 25+, 35+ and 45+ and that's enough for EVERYONE to run 2 classes (at least). 250's and 450's run about the same lap time so why have different classes for them? Long moto's and short days would sure be nice.
Im not excluding the CRA, I just don't know anything about them. So if anyone would like to add a few rumors for them, Im sure most would like to hear. Just don't stop with the missiles OMA and CRA keep lobbing on each other. Makes for some good reading on here.
Thankfully there are still a lot of races on the schedule before the snow flies. But some good late summer / early fall rumors help keep the interest level high.

North East Ohio is going to get exactly what they wanted. No more races, just tracks that hold practice. It's looking sad for next year.

I would like to see three thing change next year.

1. In a perfect world I would love to see one organization in Ohio. (I know it will never happen, but I can dream)

2. Restructure some of the classes. After watching the C classes this weekend, I believe more strongly in combine the B with the C and make it BC. The C class was so fast that it is no longer the beginner class. Love to see a D class, make it for beginners. Make it non points and then the local promoter could then move them up when necessary. Not adding a class, just restructuring everything.

3. Less tracks practicing on Sunday. Tracks are now getting out of the race business and are now just practice tracks. I don't fault the track owners, but I do blame us the races. If we don't support the tracks on race day, they will go away.

You wish big boy... Just be carful, I am less then 2 weeks away from checking out your rock pile for the first time...
you cant handle it......

Anyway, I think Jason and I are open ears when it comes to new tracks in the OMA, we are not a closed door, back alley society. We have approached quite a few places last year, nobody wanted onboard, UNLESS, get ready for this, they got a Battle race.....every single one of them that repsonded to us.

Nope. Keep the Battle Series a three race series. Don't mess with that success. My opinion though, I would love to see one in June, one in July, and the last race earlier in August. Maybe the week right after Lorettas. That keeps it out of the school schedule and fall sports.

Well if you can convince Malvern or Ctown to race in the forbidden month of June, we are good to go.

Cant blame them for wanting a piece of that pie, but if they can not be original enough to create another series that is just sad. Spring series was a good idea. And a fall series would be cool also. Piggy back with the Chili Halloween race.
I was going to open a motocross track but since MX Sports would not give me a national, I just said heck with it...

How about the "olive branch series" One OMA, CRA and southern ohio track? One race each. All memberships accepted (just one needed) It would show the tracks are doing it for the betterment of the sport and would give riders the chance to "try" the other organizations without having to fork out the extra $ for the membership.
Now that would get the rumors going.

So is OMA run by Jeremy O and Jason?? Where is Jeremy F in these descussions?
We steer the ship, but take input from everyone. The quads being split for Battle actually originated from Forcum, I believe. Either him or Jason, but I think it was him. Just because I'm fairly vocal doesn't mean that I boss everyone around, Jason and I talk sometimes at great length about many issues before making decisions together. Forcum is pretty active on PR as well!
