Tracks with elevation change.

Hey guys just wondering, other than mx213 are there any other local tracks that have a significant amount of elevation change? Thinking Glen Helen like. Here's a pic of where my family and I are planning on building a better track for my bro and I to practice on. You can kinda see where the track is with the little bit of snow we got the other day. That's maybe 2/3 of the track. Clear to the right you can see a bit of the current little track.

Not really, I think of the current tracks running practice or racing, beans might have the most absolute elevation change.

Careful what you wish for. The bigger the hills the more dirt you lose

Thanks, never really thought about that, we'll have to keep that in mind. Running on grass isn't really a good test of the track, but going up and down all the natural hills, drop offs and step ups are fun. Would definitely be a more natural terrain style track vs man made.

Skyview has some good hills. Not quite like GH, but still fun

Can't see it from my pic but there is one section that is very GH-like. You go off a little drop off and down a steep hill which flattens out a bit at the bottom, still off camber though, and make a 180 left and go back up the hill and crest over the top.

When's opening day?

Haha idk if it will ever be open to the public but you, JO and the rest of the BC crew would be more than welcome to come out once we get it done! Hoping early next year, after winter...if winter ever gets started lol.

Your track looks like a blast! SW Ohio has (well, had...) Buckeye Hills in Hillsboro. They didn't do anything in 2015. I have no idea what plans are in place for 2016.

Why not just open your own track with that much land. If you own the field infront of the hill, There is enough parking lol. that would be a sick practice track tho.

There are about 5 million reasons why to not to open a track to the public

Not sure if my parents are into opening it up...I do think it'd be cool to do, something I'd enjoy doing, but it's a pretty big commitment.

Get a dozer, I might have time to build a couple o naturale booters. A big natural uphill on top, then a ski jump down would be pretty cool.
Just use the driveway, you already have woops, deep ruts, natural elevation, perhaps a bit rocky.... #thenewcliff
