So I've ridin a 17 Husqvarna FC250 for the last year now and I'm wondering if I should get another 250F or I should move to a 450. My father insists a 450 cause I weigh a little too much, I'm getting toward the 195 range (lol) maybe I should just lose some more weight stick to 250s..... Either way I'm gonna stick to losing some more pounds. But on the other hand I still kinda wanna a 450F. but I don't think I I'll be able to handle a 450F. Not sure if I'll be able to hold on or not ? Just wanna find out if I'm losin a couple pounds and staying in the 250s haha.

You hated a 450 when you had one, if you want more power but that light feel, get the 350. Or lose some weight or get a big bore kit for the 250. You won’t like the heavy feel of the 450 motor.

I agree with DelBalso, a 350. Or if you want a 450 you could also look into a flywheel weight to take away some of the initial hit. If you get a Yamaha i have the GYTR power tuner so i can put a less aggressive map in it. That also makes a world of difference.

(Not the same guy——he’s got red hair and is bigger than me. But 13 years younger)

This was 2 years ago. When he was a boy. Looks like a man now with a baby face.

But he loves moto and probably the most loyal guy I know.

(And I’ll (George) will be on a 350 this year)

And....I think my brother has more natural/raw talent on a motorcycle than I ever will. He just needs some self confidence and focus. His form is better than mine. A 450 would do him well. My dad usually is spot on with “outside-in” assessments related to motocross.

He got big! Time for a 450.

Well then, since we're talking younger brother here........... let him try a 450 then. If you are getting a 350 anyway, he can try both of them and so can you. But if he likes to rev things to make them go fast.......... the 350 is the ticket. If he likes to use torque to pull him over things, a 450 is better.

Little baker, get a 450. I mean i was 215 lbs riding a stock 09 crf250 and i was able to stick and beat most guys on 450’s in 25+ (debalso, your brother...) so honestly it’s about how you ride, but i think being your size a 450 will suit you well. I since moved to 450’s bc I’m like 230 now (having a kid will do that to you) but i love my Honda and honestly the power delivery is so smooth and nice i don’t get tired riding it like i use to when i had my 07 yz450f...

Lol cool not so humble brag bro.
We've raced twice, when I had a freshly torn ACL bud and I still managed to "stick it to ya" 3/4 motos. But hey if it makes ya feel better keep on boastin
