Good ride guys!!!

What happened to the leader of Vet B ---- He went 1-1-DNF? Also bummer to Chris Opliger who was sitting 4th o/a going into the last moto and must have gotten in a first lap crash, finishing way back. Maybe that took out the winner of the first two motos. You just never know what will happen over 3 motos!

Hey hey.Pitracer local Zaremba running 6th in 4-6 51cc multispd.

Wooooo* waves rag

Thanks Georgie! Yeah was an interesting week. Mitchy had great practice session with lap times putting him in top 5. Moto one, the nerves ate him up as he had a crash on lap 1. Put him in the back and messed up his transponder, which showed he was in last at the end of the race. Good thing scorers do not rely on them alone as he battled back to 8th and they scored him correctly. Moto 2 he did great, landing a 6th, right on the bumper of 5th, and putting him in 6th overall going into the last moto. Moto 3, it rained while he was on the gate. He landed a 5th place start and thought it was on for a top 5 finish. In any case, half way through, he tangled bars with a PW50 in the 10 commandments and went down. I was proud of him at this point. Rather than packing it in, he got up as he was now sitting in 8th. He needed the 7th place rider, on a Yamaha TTR, to get 7th overall and a tie for 6th in the points. I shouted from pit row, "you need this Yamaha" and he put his head down and tore off after him. Pulled in and his bars were a mess and throttle cable was sticking. Not sure how he completed that race. All in all, a stressful, but fun week for both dad and Mitchy! Time for a sale: 2 Honda CRF50's, a 2005 and 2011 (with 3 rides on it). Putting him back on his King Cobra for an attempt next year!

How bout this. Wife and daughter went out for ice in the golf cart, and look who they ran into. They agreed to a pic with my daughter. Pretty Cool!

No different than the rest of us.....marriage, kids, and now that he is not riding 24/7......he might have put a couple pounds on. My guess is, he shows up next week, he would still be in the top 5 in both motos, without riding for a few months.

He looked about like that at the SX opener in Anaheim in 2000 when I was there. Maybe a little lighter, but not much. He was fast even with a collarbone on the mend.

This is how he lost it.
