Obamacare, and health insurance for racers.... get ready for some B.S. M-- F***ers!!!

One of the richest men in the world by the name of Warren Buffet is a registered democrat. His investments help to provide jobs to millions and his donations help just as many. This is obviously a pointless argument and you'd be a fool if you think it's a legitimate claim to tie all rich liberals to Jay-z. Clean up that grammar too it's a strain trying to read what you type.

Sorry..I was using my cellular device... One I pay for, not a free one. I'm not arguing anything, just making a statement. Greed runs rampant through all walks of life.. To make the claim it's only prevalent in republicans is just as ignorant. I will tell you this, I'll put my money on a greedy republican before Ill put it on socialist democrat. At least I know its not going to be wasted. Just remember, everyone is created equal at BIRTH...After that their decisions depict their equality. Its not my duty, nor is it yours to pay for their lack of initiative, common sense or way of life. I work, I have what I can afford.. I don't work so dirt bags can have what they cant afford. This isn't the soup kitchen, its life!

I agree 100% with what you said here.

Lotta Dems ARE informed, but they're drunk from that easy to drink Barack Obama brand of Kool Aide. The repercussions of which aren't apparent until after some time has passed. Fine-- I can see how many were duped in the first four year round, but I don't see how anybody fell for the smoke and mirror trick the second time around. The only explanation is that the repubs ran a relatively crappy campaign, while the dems figured out who their target audience was-- and went for them.

Now that we know for sure what we're up against-- the only thing we can do is to weather the storm for another 4 long years, and minimize the damage as much as we can. The first thing that needs attention would have to be the Fiscal Cliff bonanza before it finds a way to stir up the VIX. Nothing worse for a company than to have the higher ups making long term decisions while stressed about company share holdings. Next would be to find a way to thwart the attacks on dividend earnings and Obamacare mandates. One battle at a time. We need a workmanlike approach, rather than bickering amongst the parties. Bill Clinton actually took a somewhat bi-partisan stand IMO during his second term if memory serves w/o getting into any details. --L*64

Your first paragraph could easily have substituted Bush for Obama, dem for repub, and
2012 for 2004.

And dividends were taxed at the same rate as wages during Clinton's term.
And GHWBush.
And Reagan.
etc.

I understand why you don't like dividends being taxed as wages, it'll hurt
me too. It smacks of welfare state for corporations to be taxed differently
than your employees though.

Ever hear of a place named Iraq?

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I also recall a legislative resolution to enter Iraq with a huge majority of democrat votes such as Hillary, and your team Kerry and Edwards who lacked courage to accept responsibility for their votes. Obama gets a pass because at that time he still had no experience in the US government.

And he still doesn't!

But they use it when they need it and then can't pay for it. Well, unless you are paying
more than I pay my employees. So we pay for it (taxpayers) when we use healthcare as
the providers have to build that into their costs. Just like I build deadbeats into my costs
(it's really small in my case as it's easy to fire deadbeats in my industry).

I agree with your analysis of everyone pays when uncovered workers go to the Doctor and can not pay. My point is why make the small business pay for them. Why not bill them directly? Why not have a payroll deduction for them?
The way our government works they use Small business money to fund there programs then give it back if and when the employee pays.
That is not freedom of choice. That is taxation without representation. Once they get your money minus any fees or proccessing charges or penalties for not covering workers its hard to get it back.
You also could be using that money for other needs like facilities, equipment or other operational expenditures.

Solution:
Deduct healthcare from Unemployment Benefits or make them work for it.
Deduct healthcare from Welfare checks or make them work for it if able.
Bill the individual not the business where they are employed.

My wife and I both work in the health insurance industry. Our health insurance is increasing 32%, and we pay 100% for myself and kids, and her employer pays for her only. It ony takes one or two employees with claims to sky rocket a renewal. Employees now days need to be educated on how to efficently use their healthcare so that they are not going to the ER or urgent care for colds and flu. Anymore in our society, people use their local "hometown clinic" (urgent care) as their primary physician. This is not a Dr office, and it cost employers more on their usuage of their healthcare.

And on our end we are making less money. Instead of a carrier paying commissions, we might now get $15 per head per month for an employee. Sometimes less on large cases were it is negociated. As employers lay off workers, they have less on their plan, this hurts their pool, and we has brokers make less money. So all the way around the local brokers (small businesses) are being hurt also.

We are 13 months out from Obamacare, and the federal government has not put the plan designs are the rates out there yet. Crazy. The plans are to be administered by the states, but yet 17 states have said they are not going to do it, and the federal govt will have to do it for their states. The federal govt is not prepared or able to handle that. I personally think the whole obamacare thing has the chance of really blowing up and being a disaster. We as citizens will end up paying for it.

I was in Boston last week for the National League of Cities. I could not believe how many people from around the country supported Obama. And NO ONE I spoke to from Boston supported Romney. I am not sure how he ever got elected Governor of the state. But yet they have two state officals, the democratic health commissioner and state treasure on trial right now for coruption. Imagine that.
