It's time to get the fall racing OMA series under way! Grand Prix is a very tamed down MX track minus all big jumps followed by a couple miles of woods. It is a 45 Minute one moto format. Race your own pace and lets see who has the most overall skills, woods or mx guys lol. This should be the most fun style of racing you will do all year. Get there, put in a lot of laps, get tired, go home early with a sore smile on your face. Time to get you and your buddys in shape before winter hits the most fun way ever, racing. Hit me up with questions and we will see you Saturday! Practice as usual on sunday with the woods open also! omxa.net for all race info Beans 330-602-1248

We have never raced one of these GP's. Is there a practice session, hot lap, or sight lap and if so when? What is the normal thing to do, walk the track the day before, or the day of, or just go at it blind your first lap?

You know us moto-x guys don't get along with the trees very well so any insight on a look at the track will be of great help!

The way most are done is no sight lap. Just don't go nuts on the first lap, and you should be alright.

What several guys do is ride the 11am session as a practice session by not going for it on the start, and just learning the track and picking up the pace as they go. Probably what I will do as well, since the OMA tracks will all be new to me, except Action Sports.

First 45 min moto is at 11:00 so it gives you plenty of time to walk track. It's fairly simple since their is a main loop and thats it. Not options that look like it can go this way or that like i'll face laying out the Crows track. Just make sure you wear shoulder pads.

Something just don't look right....

Looks like me and the gang may be coming up. I wanted to run 40+, but have a commitment in the afternoon, so will have to run the first session. Thinking Heavyweight B will be the class. With being 251cc and up, my Gorr KX300 (actually a 291cc or 294cc max) will be OK with that class right? It's stamped 291 on the side of cylinder. Just do not wanna get up there and have any issues. Should be good fun.

No tech so don't cheat. lol!

A few cc won't make a difference lol. It's not about the bike, it's about the juice he was taking haha

Just making sure. Heck, there's kids who could smoke me on their 65's, but just don't want some old geezer making a big deal about nothing. You know the dealio. See ya Saturday maybe. :)

Brock... Is the GP track kind of the same loop you put in last year? I remember coming out when it opened and u took a bunch of guys through.....?
