Not to bad of a drive for this one and the boys (Trevor Maley and Mitchy) had a great day 1...tomorrow we go back to work it again.

My year starts FEB 13th.
Cant wait to start riding again. HRD was just a tease.

Dirt was great... Nice fun track...HRD a much more national caliber type track from size, build, ground...
etc. Saying that 7hrs vs almost 10 is a big deal. I got up Sat morning early and made it down by noon. Burned laps for 5 hrs, slept, up for more from 11:30a-2:00p and home by 9:00p

..and yes great prep.. Owner rides.. He gets it.. Mitchy and Trevor first on the track Sunday making nice lines in the perfectly groomed track.

Fun times.. Where next?

Haha.. Not sold...but next time! Secret training.. No pics of the Zman

..oh yeah Travis Preston was there training a few super-mini and 85cc riders. Those kids were cooking and fun to watch as well. Also, Jarvis, I think past female national champ from LL was there making her YZ sing.. Seemed like the place to be this past weekend.. Good turn out, fast riders. Mitchy had his hands full with Noah Stevens.. 8th 1 moto at mini-O's this past November.. Both pushed each other and was fun to watch!

Pit.. When u coming out? I'll ride when u do!
 
I am riding MM next, you are supposed to be coming remember!

We leave next Wednesday after school. be there till monday.

I'm on the low travel, budget racing plan this year. I'll be out when the tracks in Ohio open!
Basically being in another state every weekend last season has me needing a break.

For sure for 2 days, but I can see myself leaving early in the AM, ride from 12p-5p, then drive home by midnight. With this weather... I would do it..
 
Might go to this track next weekend since my boys mid winter vacation got axed with snow days. JWTF is just to far to drive and ride and drive home. This track is in Yadkinville, NC? It is down by East Bend and Center Road?

I used to live in Winston-Salem 14 years ago, but haven't been back for a while. 6.5 hour drive by mapquest, but I can knock off 45 minutes off that, so I can go down Friday after school and be back Monday for school


So it is a national caliber track with good jumps and dirt with an AX track? Looks nice on the website. Gosh, this weather is messing up plans every weekend, and we are tired of doing the indoor thing at SB.

SB is better than the couch, but not the same as clicking gears.....
 
Yep track is near EastBend and Center Road. We hit it again yesterday and the place was awesome. May head back that way this weekend as well after a rip down to GA and then onto Monster Mountain.
 
Looks like Atlanta is getting more snow and ice today. Walkers place might be a muddy from all the snow. They are predicting more freezing rain tomorrow for Atlanta.
