Just tell the Police/detective if they are not willing to help,you`ll go do it yourself and see how quick they will help you out. :D

The only problem may be that the cell phone could be stolen also.
 
He had to steal a truck first to put the bike in back when he stole it. Come on.....you did not expect him to ride the bike all the way back to Lorain.
