I like numbers too...

In the 2014 season (Jan 1 thru Dec 31) the AMA had 31,657 members competed in 921 AMA sanctioned motocross events. A total of 240,723 total motocross entries at AMA motocross events. That means on average a racer competes 7.6 times per year... interesting???

One step further... In Ohio, during the 2014 season, there were 28 AMA sanctioned motocross events. A total of 1,385 AMA members for a total of 6,544 entries. The 4th largest state for AMA motocross members.

Congratulations MX Ohio riders!!! As a guy coming from down south, I don't quite think you Ohio guys/girls realize how good you have it.

And that leaves all the battle weekends open and plenty of space for a Northwest track.

There it is tracks... Riders... Sponsors... Who wants to jump in????

Then try to find a race in southern Michigan or eastern Indianna.

If gas stays cheap there's no excuses. Filled up for 1.58 today.

First: Where!?

Second: Don't count on it...projected to reach $5.00 a gallon this summer and stay there. I'm going to find an old el camino and put a 4-banger in it.

Third (for Knox): Doesn't leave much room for weather cancellations, and since motocross racers don't like to get dirty these days, low turn outs. Oh and what about neck braces, should probably require them for the series since people will be racing on tracks they are unfamiliar with.

It's amazing what global competition does to oil.

OPEC just keeps pumping.

Keystone pipeline Obama. Will get vetoed.

Ok since I know getting all the tracks to work together is a massive pipe dream since that would mean they are helping each other. How about a 3 race series (one from each organization) and run very limited classes like we have talked about for years with long motos. Call it the Pitracer series. Get a bunch of us together to organize and do all the work. It promotes all the organizations, the tracks, old school long motor and THE SITE. Run it in the fall so no one gets their feeling hurt that we are running against them.
Heck, someone get me a sponsor (cough cough pitracer cough) and I will start the ball rolling

I'm going to write to Mitch McConnell and John boeghner. Suggest that all the D's and Rs work together for the people.

There was talk of a Pitracer run race this year......hmmm.....add 2 more and Knox gets his wet dream!
