3 years ago this week we started building the big track. It has been a heck of a lot of work and a lot more to do. With us joining the OMA next year we have to step up our game even more.

I am just a 50+ post vintage guy but that place gets better every time I go there. Lonnie buys more equipment as he goes and the track improves. Definitely doing it the right way in my opinion. I can go there on my old bike and feel safe riding the track with the fast guys, nice and wide with options and no "oh crap is somebody going to land on me" moments. Unless you like supercross style tracks you won't be disappointed. Great track for everyone really.

I would eliminate some of the track down towards the far end. Part of it was very tight, and was SUPER rocky. That's the biggest issue, was the rocks. I DNF'd a moto after falling to find out I had a flat, and we saw three others that day with flats. It had to be because of the large rocks.

I think the far end is the most fun. Has a small amount of elevation change and always forms technical ruts. Rode there at least 5 times and never got a flat. Nobody in our group has either that I know of.

Did you see the picture I posted?? In 3 short outdoor seasons I've worked so hard to get this place going. Is there still a few things need attention .. Absolutely there is. Does it help for a "founding father" of this super special sight to bash and critizie a track? And people wonder why tracks don't like pisting here lol. So now I will sit here and wait for the "core" of PR which consist of 10 guys sitting in a controlled environment pressing the refresh button on a computer to bash me. Carry on...

Meeeooow ... someone has his claws out today.
Your doing a fine job Lonnie. Just keep improving each day. Don't look at it as a bash, it is more of a "why don't you get off your arse and do something" statement... There is a difference. :D
Pretty sure Georgie slashed Johnny's tire before the moto. He just did not notice it was flat until the second lap.

I am not "bashing" your track at all! I really am not. I like the layout for the most part, my son loved the track. We will be back. My only complaint was the large rocks. Reminded me of Honda Hills a bit, they had sections that were similar with the rocks. I think perhaps some deeper disc and a tad more water takes care of that.

Sorry if you took it as bashing. Constructive criticism is not always a bad thing.

Perhaps there's an app that will refresh your computers for you? Hate to see any injuries from touching a button to often while your drawing a paycheck from a company your suppose to be providing them with your time in exchange for weekly compensation.

yes. keeps the whole surface from being rock hard with the rocks sitting on top of it. Take DMC for example. On race day, with good prep, you don't notice the huge rocks at all. But once it is dried out, there are large bolders on that track. It makes a huge difference.

Rt62. Think maybe should just get an 84" roller and roll the whole track to beat the rocks back down further in the dirt. Smh

Whys everyone have to be a smart ass. There are steps that can be made to improve the racing surface. Some are short term solutions with Prep, and there are long term solutions also. Dirt Country is a perfect example. I've raced there since the 80s. It was like riding on concrete. Over the years they have improved the dirt, and now parts of the track have some of the best dirt around.

So instead of taking everything personal, why not listen to people, and see what you can do to improve. There are tons of people that race and go to one or two tracks in a year. I go to a lot of tracks in ohio, and some out of Ohio. Been at it for more consecutive years than most. So why not listen to some of the people supporting your races?

I absolutely listen to people. I believe the entire facility is built off rider input. Aren't you the VERY same guy that shared a post I made on this site to Facebook and started another thread about it also on here? Carried the bashing of our place to a complete other forum... But I'm sure you meant no harm by doing that either right?

I am not sure what you're talking about. I've been to one race at your facility, no practices. Had a good time at the race that I was at. Only negative comment I've made, has been right here about the racing surface in the rocks.

Had a guy from treaty city one time tell me if I did not like it to never come back. I've never gone back. So I guess I can take my three or four entries and the four or five people that come through the gate with me and not come back if you don't like my comment.

Now it sounds like you are taking it personal? I've never asked anyone to not come to our place. Well except the guy last Sunday that destroyed our fence trying to get his bike across it lol. Your always welcome here.

I provide them with my presents. If you want something actually done, then that is a different conversation.
    And I stretch before refresh.
