Are you guys aware that the online pre-registration is shut down as of at least 6:30am this morning? That's not going over well for those who thought they had until noon as it says on the website.

The problem has been resolved. It is back up and running ALL DAY. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused!

Tim,
I am really sorry about this! The site was down from midnight til 8:30am this morning. This was my fault and Summit has extended their preregistration until 9pm tonight. Still plenty of time to get your OMA membership and get registered!!!

I was able to make it out Friday night, full house for sure. I really enjoyed my time. Looking forward to Rd 2 in February!

Here are a few pictures I took while at the event!

Wow, we had fun!!

I havent been to Summit since 1997 I think, Im not an indoor racing kind of person. I must say the boy and I really enjoyed it. Our results werent up to par but that isnt the most important thing. The prep was absolutely perfect, the track was built for all levels of riders and everything ran smooth as silk. It was really good seeing riding friends that we havent seen for a bit too. I think the warm weather friday did a lot of good too.

Thanks for a great event, it was fun to get behind a gate.

Amazingly enough I dont have one negative thing to say, how about that Bobby Noah? It was good talking to you this weekend. Stop being a lurker you wussy.

He's coming along. I love working for him. We have a really good crew up there. I am still trying to get him to do the rider's meeting. :) He is more of a one on one guy..which is totally cool too.

He does manage us workers well and we all get along with him.

Thanks for the positive feed back. I really loved the wall jump after the finish line.

That was a jump?? lol My friend wanted me to jump it and I said no way I am old and it hurts plus it looked like a slower option. I had a blast racing both days. I love indoors and this was a pretty fun layout. The roller section was my favorite.

Sure...call it what you will..."The Great Wall of Summit," "21st Century Hipster," "This jump messes with my flow."

I am not sure which line is faster...kinda depends on the rider and their momentum before and after this obstacle...I did see some passes from the outside.

Lol. When you said wall jump after the finish line I thought you were referring to the guy that "jumped the wall" and missed my sons head by about 2 inches ripping his bike from my hands. I hope he was ok. And I'm happy he missed us. Scary stuff for sure.

I wasn't 100% comfortable going to far out on the track as a photographer. I don't like it when I have to worry about bikes/atv's coming from multiple directions. I ALWAYS have my head on a swivel when out on the track.
