2 Stoke race?

We have been discussing on Facebook about a 2 stroke race. September 17th is the potential date. We have been watching Knox's thread about cost to race, to many classes. Any input from the pitracer crew is appreciated !

125 All Stars 100% payback
250 All Stars 100% payback

I was thinking instead of the normal 10$ gate fee what about 20$ per vehicle? If you can fit 6 in cab of your truck it's still 20$.

I was thinking - "check the OMA schedule". Once again, this will be on top of another OMA race not that far from you.

How about this:
B - Any displacement full size bike
C - Any displacement full size bike
85 - Big wheel bikes ok
65
50 jr
50 Sr
Vet 30+
All Stars 100% payback

Run two longer motos per class, maybe 15 minutes. Pro's run 20 minutes.

With two long motos and a shorter day overall, no need for two classes for each participant.

Most riders want to race 2 classes in my opinion? But I guess if they are longer motos 1 class would be enough?

Malvern's Saturday Kames Series. Truth be told, practice doesn't start until 3:30 so maybe folks could do both if they drove quick between tracks.

Whatever, this horse has been beaten to death. Thank you though for thinking outside the box a bit and trying to offer something new.

I have talked to Lonnie about my opinions on class list and just want to see what everyone else thinks.

I don't see a need for 125/250 B and 125/250 C. I think these should be 125/250 Open to any skill level. The idea is bigger gates, less classes, something different. I looked at the 3 biggest OMA races (2 battle races and King of the Cliff) this year and the 125 class (which is open to A, B and C if I am not mistaken) has had 29, 18, 15 riders. I would just have a 125 class and a 250 class. Forget A B C.

As a side note, at those 3 races that I looked at, the 2-stroke class had 7, 7 and 5 riders in the class. This tells me you want to try to pull in your 125 riders. Not many people riding 250 2 strokes around here.

It's a fun race. There isn't any factory contracts involved. Just get your 2 stroke and have fun.
So you don't need to run 2 classes do long moto's 15 plus 1 for 105 and below and 25 plus 1 for the big bikes.

Just curios.. How many entries do you think there will be with these classes? At 20$ per class and 20$ per car load gate fee do you think there's enough [emoji383] generated to cover the race cost? I have no idea how many entries there would be

Don't do it! At least till the next weekend, that's the weekend vet national at highpoint this year.
I saw that but from the info we received not many in this area even want to go there anymore. But we can defiantly find a different date no problem.
