W.T.M. - Weekly updates

What tracks are open near Detroit this weekend? We have a long weekend and trying to find something to do.

Moto options are
Detroit and ride Sunday
East bend race Saturday (mainly for my daughter) and practice Sunday
Wildcat qualifier

Any other options that may have a cool hotel or waterpark near by to do in the evening?

I thought you were going to Detroit and looking for places to ride in MI? What track is that -- doesn't look familiar to me....

We couldn't find any up there that were close, open, and not pure sand (my kids not ready for pure sand lol). We headed south and raced east bend yesterday. Had that broken spokes/Malvern Saturday night feel. Today we're going to check out 421.
 
Smith Rd was fun on Sunday, good to spend some time riding locally and close to home. It got dusty later in a few spots but was pretty nice for quite a while and I was surprised how nice most of the dirt was. Bike was barely dirty. Couple new jump changes that were pretty soft and challenging with ruts.

Good to see familiar faces!
 
Took the weekend off and built a privacy fence gotta love owning a house. Missed out on riding but is what it is. Supposed to hit the Abe this weekend but weather tells me I’m staying home as of now
 
I will be at Honda hill’s Saturday for the open practice on my 450, and doing the team GP race for the MERP series Saturday at 4:30. Sunday we’ll be at the MERP at HH. Electrix moto had me out together a race team, and it’ll be me and 2 other racers racing a total of 9 races throughout the day, 3 races a piece.
