Is there a demand for a Supercross track in Ohio....who is going to ride the track...Now a Sweet gp track would be sick. Or sand track would be killer.

im not riding anymore. but if i were, id vote for sand over a supercross track. just my opinion. people say they will come ride it. but they wont. or they will only show up a hand full of times. or people thinking they will ride it will show up and **** their pants.

how bout the big step up in the back, how you turn that around, put some wicked whoops like many many years ago, or like that real long table that was hip high up in front, any one notice he hasnt wrote anything on this post, give us some clues bj

SX is for Stadiums and to make money. Not to mention to support the medical industry.......

Sand or corner track would bring more activity and prolly more riders than a SX track in my opinion.

Just so you know this track is dedicated to everyone from beginners, Vets like myself and Pros. As far as a Supercross slash Arenacross track is concerned, we haven't started it yet. It will be located between the MX and the small bike track. We decided to mellow out the outdoor track with tall sweet looking table tops. Their are no doubles period that consist of two singles. Their are a few tables followed by rollers. However for the young and crazy kids, the options to go table to table is there with forgiving landings. We intend on promoting a wow factor when you roll into Beans (Big Berm) Raceway!
This is the first track I have designed and built to my likings ever in Ohio. Usually my dad built them and I just rode haha! He has gotten back from Florida and will be helping me through the remainder and the Stadium track along with BJ. We hope its appealing and puts a new fun factor into Ohio Motocross as it has a lot of unusually high berms to lay into and rip it.
As far as the stadium track verses a sand track or corner track is concerned, its a way of taming down the MX but still having some really gnarly sections Beans is famous for. If we had a sand pit we would have made a sand track 10 years ago. A corner track may happen a little more down the rode along with the idea of building a GP track.
That would be sick but lets just be thankful BJ has put in the money, time and effort to build what I think is one of the best tracks ever in Ohio. I feel 90% of you will agree when you ride it. It will be easy for all caliber of riders to have a blast at their own skills.
On the last note, the track is built bidirectional so one month backwards next month forwards and so on. I will prep the faces every week and BJ ( now with two water trucks!!!) will make sure and so will I that the dirt is prime. I tapered the entire track so no water can lie. Pipes have been in the bottoms and good dirt has been spread throughout. We are a few weeks out but trust me it's worth the wait!
Thanks,
Brock

Great job on Pape's track too Brock! Can't wait till Beans opens though. This is gonna be great. BJ has
always put his heart and soul into his track and it shows. I already have the WOW factor just looking
at the pics of Beans Big Berm Raceway lol.

Can't wait Brock.

I remember back in the day when Amherst Meadowlarks switched direction for every race. With Smith Road now going one direction, I can't think of any other tracks around that alternate direction anymore.

Beans honestly is one of the last tracks I ever pictured being able to alternate direction, but I think it's awesome.

Im glad your sticking to the first Idea of a SX/AX track. Sure its going to be gnarly, but only those that want to ride it will. Corner tracks are for backyards. Love the Big berms... and im interested in seeing how the tunnel jumps feels as a downhill! Wow, thats just going to be weird. lol.

i agree, ive liked beans in the past beacuse he wasnt afraid to build some gnarlier stuff than other places. i like the idea of still having that option. not that i wont wad my self up on the SX track, cuz im sure i will, but at least it will be available to do so :)

i got to check out the progress on thursday and i was amazed! the giant wall berms really make a track cool! the jumps look perfect & the fresh dirt from the ponds has been spread where most needed, beans has always been one of my favorite local tracks but this version will be the best ever!

We are planning on having the track done next week and opening Next Sunday (vets only,)for the all new Beans Bike Park! I want all the Vets around to come out and experience some old school fun. We have a little Honda Hills put in the track with the big berms and we tamed it down to a lot of Table Tops. I plan on riding so I'll experience the fun for the first time with you. You have to be at least 30 year old now exceptions. I'm going on 35 and just got off two shoulder surgeries so this will be my first day back!
Vet Day at Beans, May 6th!!!!!!!!!!!

Hey, I think I qualify for this…
Hummm…let see, ....50 on May 23[SUP]rd[/SUP] and have collected two un-repaired AC Separations …along with a set of broken legs, a cracked sternum and broken scapula. (not all at the same time mind-you) Ribs, fingers, toes, teeth and other fleshy removal type stuff not included…..
And none of it has deterred from the enjoyment this sport has brought me
So I’m IN!!
The Place Looks Super Cool, Can’t wait to ride it !!
