WOW! Who wants to go to Ram Jam now? You might have scared away some people with your antics. You probably should have went about things a little differently. You won't be seeing me anytime soon.

I have the right and obligation to my business to make sure everyone follows the same rules my business has to follow period. I would do the same thing if they were a construction company.

I know a bunch of people who will come! It's a free country and competing businesses make everyone better. There are a ton of people in the area who don't ride indoors because of distance and jumps that get people hurt before outdoors starts. And I can't believe someone wants to throw you under the bus already! Just what we need- more regs and government involved!! Think about the riders,"other" indoor tracks! And worry about your own business.

WOW as well. I'm missing something here. Why as riders don't you see where ramjam is coming from? There is a health and safety issue as well that it seems all not going to ramjam or elsewhere any more are missing. You can't just move into any old building and run bikes - Mx/sx is a dangerous sport and going indoors adds even more risk to it not only for the riders but everyone in the place. From everything from structural support, electrical, ADA etc.... and most importantly air quality/ventilation. Not saying the current place doesn't have all the above and a bunch more but you as riders should be glad everything was up to code. If and when they get open it will more than likely be better than it is currently. I can tell you over here in Pa there is no way anyone can move into just any building as things have to be classified as recreational sports and the endless codes these days are unbelievable. We looked at numerous old HUGE buildings and none would be able to be brought up to todays code with out virtually redoing the entire building along with all the soil around some of the buildings - not sure what the building was used for but trust me anything with metal, chemicals etc...is out over this way. Just as ramjam and Nemx stated it's very - very costly to get open and in the end while we all may not agree with all the regulatory bs these days they and you will be thankful everything is legal/legit both as the business and rider/consumer. Not that all the codes mean anything as the biggest indoor in the country collapsed a few yrs ago Mototown usa.

I've got a 1985 honda something. Not sure because the decal wore out. Anyway, it's really low hours, the previous owner said like 2 hours. I've put some more on, but only yard ridden. Original tires 98% if you measure around the cracks, oil changed every 6 minutes, and air filter cleaned every 5. Brand new piston and ring put in one weekend when me and my buddies got trashed. I run 75-1 mix as it's a 4 stroke. Fantastic snow bike. No title for the bike as last owner said he didn't get one while he sped away in a van without plates. Anyhow, I think new it would be $7000. Cash price $5,000 and I'll throw in a spark plug. It's on craigslist. :)

Pitracer drama is always good for a laugh.

Consider this similar, yet relate-able scenario for some of the delinquent bandwagoners replying to this thread chiming in about hot dog stands or what have you.

You own a business, business A, and you've went through all the proper channels to establish yourself and open to the public. You've incurred a lot of expense to get to this point and you're finally making profits. Company B comes in and it's commonly known that they hire illegal aliens at half the wages so they can undercut all the local established businesses. Company A goes out of business because there is no way they can deliver their product or service at the same price point as B.

I am not saying this is the case for the new operation in Y-town, far from it. What I am getting at is that a lot of cost can be reduced by not following procedure.

Fair competition is great, I'm all for it, and if a great indoor facility opens in Y-town that is excellent. I'm sure there are quite a few Ohio boys that it will cater to and quite possibly even more PA riders. Personally it is half as far for me to travel to Y-town and gas isn't cheap. Facility looks sweet so far by the way!

Haha.. Does it come with fuel injected brake lines? Sounds like it has all the right powerbands and I think I've got some pro-circuit air for the air box that will fit an old Honda!
