I was asked in another topic about the numbers of Vets at LL and where are they from... Well here are the numbers. I found it to be interesting that the "hot bed" of moto being Florida, they have had a stedy decline in old dudes going to LL... wonder why.

How many riders are there at a LL national?

Numbers seem high for 3 years of data. or is that 13 years
 
Sorry, kinda gets mixed up, got to read it in columns. 2013 there were 229 vets total. 2012 there were 211 vets. And 2000 there were 199 vets.
Couple of typos because it did not "format" correctly.
My apologies.
 
High Point +40 regional had 34 riders thats a good number.

6 had Pro licenses in the past 20 years. (not 100% sure on some of these guys.)

Great job Chris... I can't figure the Florida thing either... How about Michigan doubling amount of riders from next lowest state... Michigan representing...

Interesting also states closest to Loretta aren't higher in entries...

Not surprised in the slightest.

Florida has an increase in vet riders....most pros move to Florida. Get old. Start racing vet classes again. How many Florida riders had pro licenses out of how many attended Loretta's ?

I'm buying a superjet. Racing dirtbikes is retarded
 
It would be cool to have a 40+A, Hell, divide all the vet classes into A and B... Why not? More money for West Virginia and no one cry's about old pro's in there class.
Georgie, you read it backwards. Florida has had a sharp decline in Vets from 23 in 2000, to just 6 last year. The big increases have been Michigan, North Carolina and New Jersey... go figure.
 
Frenchie( Greg Pamart) trains with another French guy during the winter who rides a Yamaha 250 on Team Valli. Parmart been to all nationals but Tn this year. I ride with the dude about twice a month at his compound down toward Phily.

My brother Chris Lykens still rides some pro races. Has his license since 1994. He will do Dilla again. He just had twins, so he hasn't had anytime to race this year. Just busted it out this weekend.

Maybe I need to rethink this LL stuff. I have said no since I last did it in 89 and broke my knee
 
McIlvaine and Cozadd had Pro licenses too, just don't remember how long ago.

Wonder where Dubach is this year?
 
Knox, don't start the whole Pros/Vets debate again. It seems pretty SIMPLE in my common sense way of thinking. The Loretta Lynn's "AMATUER" National Championships. Where in there does it say pro?

the time I get to 35 40 and 50. Ill be racing reed. And we all know there's no respect in the back of pack. So it looks like ill have to do what he does in the pro nats. Just try to clean everyone out.
 
Just think Georgie.....Alessi will be back in your class at Loretta's too. You will have an opportunity to get the holeshot on him again!

ALESSI WILL BE FOR SURE. and his a*****e dad. And I'll be here to rip another holeshot on his ass. But I won't be beating him 6 out of 7 laps. Those days are gone.

Ick. Aleassi dad will be there too. God I really don't want to race hahaha.
