Daytona SX: Let's get this party started, right?...

...Let's get this party started quickly, right?...

Due to whatever, I took a break from getting the SX thread started, but for whatever reason I'm going to get this one going sooner than later. I know John Boy is heading down there for the SX and the Amateur race I beleive. Who else?

A1 and A2 part deux were good, but always like me some Daytona SX. The original Live broadcast, correct? Good race, good event, good times. Someday me, myself, and I will make it down there also. Ricky said it's going to be the best track of the year. ;) If anything, it might give us a sliver of who is going to be the outdoor front runner.

Not sure about the Race Day Live coverage this week: http://www.supercrosslive.com/race-day-live

I am down here now. Drove from Atlanta after SX and spending the week before Saturday''s race.

Staying in Daytona Beach Shores at the condo that John250 posted on Pitracer last fall. It is a great place and weather is awesome this week.

Not sure if anyone else has plans here this week.

Any word on if or how bad is Roczen injured? He pulled off in less than a lap at the final Atlanta qualifying session. He kept looking down at his ankle, shaking his head, and looking frustrated. He is tough and raced OK but clearly not at full speed.

I am headed out Friday about Noon for Daytona. Me and Matthew will be racing. Matt Powers is headed down to race 35+ and 40+, he is going down with Rocky from Dirt Country. Michael Palmer is racing Vet classes too, and going with a C rider. Not sure if Cameron is racing this year or not. I know he posted something about being down this week riding south. Couple quad guys rented one of my units for next week also, Logan 34 and the Musick's.

Daytona is a great race to attend with everything else going on in town. The other races, GNCC, Alligator, Endurocross, flat track, bike shows, vendors, etc, etc. Everyone needs to experience bike week if your a fan of motorcycles. Something for everyone for sure.

I look for Reed to be tough at Daytona. Dungey has never won Daytona though. I am thinking that Dungey is going to be tough for the win. I am also predicting that Baggett gets his first podium finish this week.

Woody, if you get away from the speedway and want to know where to go, hit me up I can probably tell you what your looking for. Gonna be a few pitracer followers down this year for sure. There is a little bit of something for everyone for sure!

Just watched the track map. Really like the back to back wall jumps, that should make for a pretty good passing zone. A long set of whoops that will get eat up should be interesting. The first turn is going to be a cluster.

Yes, only thing I do not like is that it's the Honda Track map. :(

I am not a big fan of the start what so ever........that will be a cluster on Amateur day for sure. I see carnage.......This is by far the worst lay out in a while.

Ruh Roh, doesnt look like it will pack in real tight, I can hear wimpers and maybe see a few tears being shed on Tuesday the 10th............
