Ive been up all night, government healthcare

And people from Cleveland fly to Thailand for hip replacements and Mexico for dental surgery.

You're high, again, aren't you?

And then 3 weeks after they fly home from their breakthrough surgery in Thailand they arrive at the ER IN SEPTIC SHOCK from infection. And then I go to work. And when they wake up they never know what we did for them, but they're alive....

Last week I cared for patients from:

India, Jordan, Syria....Canada. Yes I said Canada. Oh and Americans. Them too.

Why do they go? Cost.

I'm sure nobody that gets a hip replaced in the US gets sepsis, right? Not according to my PT wife.... If there is any data to show comparison of outcomes, including sepsis complications, Thai hospital to US hospital I can't find them.

The dental surgeon in La Joya (near Tijuana) comes highly recommended. Great service and really really reasonable fees.

So what are we now advocating? Top down government run healthcare, medical tourism or both?

Hillary already avoids our healthcare system with seemingly miraculous results. After an apparent neurological event in NYC on 911, no hospital for Hillary. A trip to her daughter's residence and she was cured!

Two words. Earnest Agnely.

I hear Thailand is a great place for sex reassignment surgery!!! Any who the Canadian medical system isn't all that great and who in the hell wants socialism, anyway....not me.

So while I was riding to the resort in Jamaica I talked to the driver of the bus (we had our own bus--was crazy nobody else)

He talked about govt healthcare that is free. But if you want to see a doctor it takes a long time. So long that your not sick by the time you're in.

He also said you get a healthcare card that has x amount of dollars and if you use it fine if you don't every year it resets.

Now that sounds great but it's problematic because the Jamaican government just relaxed penalties on drug abuse. (Weed isn't legal here) they allow 2 oz of weed on you before you're hit with a hard penalty. I asked the bus driver, do you think it's been better for the county since they relaxed the harsh drug laws? He flat out said NO. it made it worse. More kids are on drugs now because they think it's ok, more are showing up in hospitals dopesick and taking the beds away from the elderly who really need them.the healthcare resources are limited and being sucked up by the youth who historically haven't been sick in the country. So it puts pressure on an elderly jamaican who develops pneumonia, they can't get treated fast enough.

It was an eye opener for me how smart this guy was and how his outlook on life aligns close to my own. Slightly more conservative but governments always push in the direction of liberal. And it doesn't help anything. The governments all tell the people the same
s**t, it's for our good and for the children and all that crap. But at the end of the day there's no borders with politicians. They're in control and the rest of us are at their mercy.

Premiums just went up 19%. After 2017 my plan is no longer acceptable to the ACA.
