Riverside raceway. Winterset Iowa.

We rolled in around 1 o’clock yesterday afternoon after an easy drive heading west on interstate 80. A quick overnight shower has left the track perfectly watered. Getting ready to start our practice sessions in an hour or so

Located in a low lying river valley between beautiful rolling hills, Riverside has been a staple in the local Moto scene for quite some time.The pits are comfortably full. Staff has got their game together & everyone is stoked to get in some racing

They sure do like to go fast in Iowa- !
This place makes BC seem like a trials park.
Lots of rev limiter bouncing.
The main section of the track is fairly firm and holds up to some abuse while anything along the river or in the trees is soft and ruts up biggly.

They went through four rotations today. Doing a full prep mid day. Everyone got plenty of track time. By the fourth sessions there were only a handful of guys in each group.

Tonight at the rack was pit bike nite for the local Iowans. They are big into pit bikes. Gritty pit bikes. Midwest style.
Best class of the night was the Pull Start Modified. Carnage on hard tails.
So funny and unique.
These dudes are brutes - with no brakes.
