Because HE doesn't like riding there, it's too rough!
it was WAY better in the early 90s.

Please explain why you think that?

Reeeeedddddd BuuuuuuDDDDD is the most annoying thing next to OH.....IO.

I do think the track was way better in the 90s. They have trucked in so much sand, its not even like it used to be. The racing is usually pretty average. Everyone just raves about the place, and it really is just not all that. Just my opinion.

I like the track at red bud and the dirt. I just don’t like the way they prep it in comparison to a Millville. I think they prep red bud too wet and it ends up forming horrible lines. Once again track is fun I personally would rather ride it on the day of the national. Because the way they prep for regionals honestly looks way rougher than the pro national. The pro national I think the track isn’t prepped nearly as wet and the lines look 1000x better. I have watched the re runs a million times and every time I tell myself that doesn’t look close to how rough and shitty the lines are for regionals

Looks like a money grab to me. 64 to almost 80 bikes on track at one time? Even with double gates that is crazy and not right.

Racing Sunday - Stoked!
Jealous!

That beginner Vet class is a huge deal and I am glad they got that kind of turnout. There are so many guys that do not race because they are just starting and just flat out don't have the experience of the other guy whos been doing it since they were a kid. I wish every bike size had a true beginner class.

And yes, I know, we'd be there another hour, it would take them forever, they dont need to be on the full track, beginners suck, you should stay home if your not able to do the jumps, blah, blah. How the hell else are they gonna get involved though. This is why people like Red Bud, they give them what they want!

Dude - they got 64 of em' !!!! yes !
and 40 in Reg +25 !

Full gates! , we want full gates.
Only a few guys on the gate is what SUCKS !
That's why i don't go!!!

.....or ? :oops::rolleyes:

Full gates. Hell they were putting almost 80 bikes on the track at the same time.

I remember racing Gainesville the day before the national several years in a row. They would do the same thing. You would come off the gate and then drop down the down hill into dust and could not see from the moto ahead of you. This is before Gainesville trucked in a bunch of sand and it was hard limestone.

Money grab? No s**t! The sport itself has been like that for yrs, where have you been? It’s no different than the Loretta’s regionals. Send your money in we’ll take it!! You have to qualify to qualify! Bahaha. Even the local tracks are the same! There’s a class for everyone!! More classes equals more money! Duh!

Wtf is a beginner vet class? Oh wait….. another way to make money. Just what the sport needs, not just another class but a bunch of old farts just learning how to race on a national caliber track. It’s a great and fair idea until grandpa jones crashes and is either dead or paralyzed because he’s a newbie!!!! Just what this sport needs! Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Give it time that’ll be the next class added at Loretta’s!!! Bahaha. Bunch of old farts that don’t know anything racing in 90 degree weather with 100% humidity not training or hydrating falling over of heat stroke just so the Coombs family can make more money!!!!! $$$$$$$$$$

So they put 80 riders on the track at a time. Take $65 per class to race. Cancel second Motos because they don't have time to run them, and give you a 30% refund. Sounds like a huge money grab to me. How many people actually waited in line to get their $20 back?
