Federal Spending Cuts-Sequestration.

Anybody surprised over the federal air traffic controller furloughs being abandoned?

And Obama wants to end all of the sequestor cuts and return to full spending if he can find a way to pull it off.

And did any of you catch the reversing or gutting of the Stock Act Bill that created transparrency on wall street trading by members of Congress and Administration.

I heard it stated yesterday that we have a $4-Trillion dollar annual government operation. I can't even picture that?

Obama is going to bankrupt the country, how is it possible that he doesnt feel the need to only spend what the country brings in? Does he think money grows on trees? I cant fathom the amount of money involved but even further from my grasp is how in the hell no one is questioning operating our country within a budget......

Just to be sure, hershey I think you know this already, but Congress decides where to spend
money. Not the Pres. He just suggests and does/doesn't veto.

Take out a little of your anger on your congresscritter. Mine certainly knows how I feel. Your's
should too.

Yes that is how it is supposed to be. But be honest dont you think he is out lobbying all the time?

Another thing.
Anyone see Obama has enough time to make short films of himself?
I will find a link

I understand the process but as a leader with power he drives people, especially his party members, to do his will. His job is to lead the citizens of our country the best he thinks he can FOR THE COUNTRY, IMO he is doing it for the best interest of the democratic party and those who fill their pockets the best.

Obama is very busy, check out some of his work.

Typical Obama........where ever he is ever speaking, no matter what the subject he always is trying to be a comedian. He is a joke.

He won't have any luck with that I'd guess. Whether they are his party or the other scum sucking
lawyer party. They are interested in getting re-elected and nothing else. As long as there
are congressional districts that guarantee wackos get elected (on both sides), I don't care
who is Prez, he won't be leading the debate, just shouting from the sidelines.

Sure but his ability to give to congresscritter's PACs is limited and that is the only lobbying that
really counts, don't you think?

I think. I have no idea who is supposed to do what.
We need leaders with a business mind. Someone who understands what really makes a strong country.
These guys are just bending the rules and constitution to suit their own needs.

By the way I enjoy reading your posts cause they always seem to shine a different light on the topic.

The house passed a budget every year, and the last two would balance in 10 years. The Obama worshiping and controlled senate just passed their first one in 5 years which will never balance, and that was only because the House passed a bill that senators would not get paid if they did not pass a budget. All spending bills must originate in the House, but neither the senate, nor the president are required to act on them. It requires a senate majority to even put a bill on the floor for debate or vote. If you are angry at your congresscritter, I hope you mean Sen. Sherrod Brown who happens to reside at the end of Obama's very short leash, because aside from the president, he is the only person you can vote for/against that is standing in the way of a balanced budget.

You really think he's the only one?

You really think he's the only one?

The only one you can do anything about. The House passed a budget that balances. We have two senators. One voted for the Ried budget with another huge spending increase that never balances. The other voted against it and supported a budget that balances in 10 years which the senate majority would not allow to be introduced, debated, or voted on. So yes, Sherrod Brown is the only one standing in the way that you can vote in or out.

was just pondering this yesterday.
For years we have all heard what you just stated. Think back on why Ross Perot was so appealling, it was because he made sense and would run it like a business and not a socialist charity ward.

Did we just squander this opportunity again by re-electing Obama instead of Romney & Ryan?
I know he wasn't perfect and had his own agenda but would he of done the country more good than what we now have?

I have sided with the Repubs most of the time, and have sided with the Dems when it comes down to fair labor standards, work and union rights issues, because the middle class built this country and progressive middle class wages and benifits must be protected, but we are going nowhere fast with Obama.

I voted for Ross...So I put Clinton in the white house.

Romney would have been better than Obama for sure. But I was really voting for Ryan. I think he is OK.
I think he has some business sense. Romney too.

OK for politician. Look even Trump said he did not want the job of being president. His job and life are too good now.
Why would he spend all that money to have such a crappy job? I know I like my job and life and would not want to change places with Obama.

" I'M all ears!" Ross Perot.....favorite quote.

Agreed, I was thinking the same thing while I was out mowing tonight, that I needed to add Ryans name with Romney on my earlier post. My thoughts were that Ryan has the numbers and budgeting skills while Romney has the negotiation skills, leadership and a business mans perspective and personal drive with a track record to back it.
